Round Australia
Feed back required,
My wife and I are going to be travelling around Australia. We going to be towing an off road caravan between 14 and 17 foot (1200-2000kg)
We are look at using our Disco 300tdi Auto. Engine, Gearbox and diffs are standard.
It has all the MODs required for touring otherwise (suspension, bar, winch, towing pack, EBC, long rang tank, dual batteries, snorkel, custom roof rack).
I would like to know if the Engine and Box will handle it or what mods will improve it ability?
We have done 4 to 6 week trips before but in my 1987 Isuzu (N/A) County (same equip as the disco) with roof top tent as accommodation.
Regards Levi

Auto transmission cooler upgrade is a pretty good one to get done. Usually people use a P38 cooler.
Do a search on here (bottom left of the page) and u will find heaps of info.. from all reports it can keep the temp of the interior a little cooler also.
