Tow bar and long range fuel tank in a defender.

I got a price for a long ranger fuel tank. 127 lt.
I need a larger tank no doubt.
I also need a tow bar for my bike rack which switches from car to car.
Can I have both? Has anyone done this.

I do not need it for towing.

Yes, can be done. You have the TD5?

We have the 127l Long Ranger on our TD5 110, and recently bought (6 months?) the Hayman Reese towbar (they currently only sell one towbar for the Defender). It fits around the Long Ranger, though clearance is a little tight. I had to grind a couple of corners to get it to fit.

Give me a yell if you need any more info.

    Guys awesome.
Can ya put a pic of both on for me to look.
    I have hayman reese now.
I looked at a new defender with one in and boy it was tight without the tow bar.
Was also thinking of where the recovery point is to make a peice that can take a recovery hitch and put the bike rack in also.
Any who see how we go.

    Rear step .

    Hi.
I need to fit a rear step to my 110, fitted with a Hayman Reece tow bar and a Long Ranger 127L fuel tank. There doesn't seem to be much room- can it fit?

I had to drill the back cross member to mount the step more to the left to clear the hayman reece tow bar, it was a waste of time as the step acted like a plough in the bush and eventually got so bent it was thrown away.
