D3 V8 Exhaust

My big dimply muffler has developed a rattle and thus presents the perfect opportunity to release my inner bogan, er fix the rattle I mean, and improve the exhaust note of my D3 V8. I don't want it loud, but I would like a less strangled and more 'meaty' sound.

I see a nice sounding Magnaflow system is available (video on youtube sounds nice) - looks expensive, shiny and probably a waste of money - I've had a yarn with some exhaust shop folks who suggest various 'try it and see' approaches. So I'd be very interested to hear what other folks done with their V8 exhausts ?

My brother replaced his, nice job and sounded great. Not magnaflow though, wasn't that expensive. Car is over in WA now, on full throttle maybe you can hear it ;-) sounded great
