    crawler gears for 2006 110

    hi together,

does anyone know where to obtain crawler gears for the Defender. A under drive won't be suitable as I have a over drive I like to keep so thought low range crawler gears would give me best of both worlds?

    cheers

    Steve

Maxi Drive make 2 sets. From memory they were about 35% or 50%. The 50% are straight cut and can be noisy for prolonged stretches. That said they are great in the slow going. You can attempt rocks at slow speeds without running out of revs. I had a set fitted by George over at Landvehicle spares-Silverdale. He had to die grind some of the internal transfer case webbing away to fit the gear set.

30% and 49% probably will go with 30 and sent them transfer case so they do the machining. how much did you pay having it done here?
