    Upgrade flange & axel

Just wondering if any1 here has done this and if you changed to oil lubricated bearings. I'm about to slide the new axel in and bolt on the new flange but was going to leave bearings as is. Any feedback welcome

    oil bearings

Gday, you haven't specified if it is front or rear?
For rear you have to remove the seal that runs on the axle. To do this you must remove the hub assembly and stub axle to get to the seal. You also need to replace the hub seal, which on yours is a grease seal, with an oil seal. Lubricate the sealing surface before you re-assemble.
The front is a lot more complicated.
It also pays to fit maxidrive type drive flanges.
