Highly technical D4 number plate swapping question

    Hi All

I'm racing in to the licencing centre at lunch time to collect some new plates for the D4. I am armed with a phillips head screw driver.

Am I likely to have it all go pear shaped in the centre carpark with washers and nuts falling insde the vehicle to rattle around for eternity, and me having handed in the old plates and not being able to afix the new plates be left standing in the car park looking like an absolute wally*?

*it would serve me right for paying good money for new plates, I know, I know.

thanks and I hope this question is sufficiently challenging for the mechanical experts.

    J
