    Instructions for overhead console fitting?

Has anyone fitted a DEF90 overhead console from OUTBACK Accessories
    to a puma defender 110?

Thanks to Tombie & Emma I have one now but the online instructions tell me that I should fix the rear mounting plate to the rear light fitting....

    http://www.4wdinteriors.com/landrover/dfndr-w/rc.htm

But its not there in the puma....

Hopefully someone has done one and can enlighten me, I have everything with it bar the instructions for a current model defender. Unfortunately OUTBACK Accs havent replied to my email requests and I tried ringing a
few of the authorised installers but they also dont have a copy (they throw em out!)

    Cheers if you can help

I think as much as V8Ian's reply was tongue in cheek, i think he is on the money. Only solution i see is screws or pop rivets. seeing as the 110 doesn't have the light in that spot.

    i think

drop the lining to see if the brackets are there.

If not, it should be easy to make something up since the ribs are inside on a puma, even though there are less, ( weight saving to compensate for all that copper)

I may be at TRS next week i could have a gander at a wreck, and maybe pinch some bits.

Failing that i would say 4 4" tek screws

With our 110 one that was meant for a 110 because the roof had to come off to do the rust in the firewall we actually found that the console came loose after they refitted it we took it off to find the screws holes had been mashed up and widened

So Ian just chucked a couple of rivnuts in problem solved

    Thanks guys,
I have contacted the manufacturer and will await a reply, I assume it will be as easy as a template I hope they can email me.. If so I'll add it up.

(I have the brackets etc and dont mind drilling them in but want to be sure...this is the last new defender I'll likely ever own! -Especially since they're stopping making them.)

Thanks Dean but I reckon I should be OK with the template...
(How did Gabby pull up after Melrose? Will was knackered!)
