    Ashcroft CVs with Hi-Tough Axles

Just wondering if there's any issues running this combination? This will be in a 110 so AEU2522 CVs 24/23 spline. Also is there any issues using the Hi-Tough flanges? With the axles do they come with the snap ring and collar? I'm hoping I can get away with just CVs and axles and save a little bit by using my existing Hi-Tough flanges.

So I am gathering that it is an early Pre 94 110 to be running 2522's?
Regardless,it is quite OK to use this combination,I have it in the front of my 110,order the axles from Hi-Tough and ask Barry to send you the snap rings and the spacer and you will be OK.Just be sure to confirm what CV's you actually have fitted before you order the Ashcroft units,as they are different.I have Ashcroft CV's for both my 110 and 130,and they are different.Your Hi-Tough flanges will be fine. One of my trucks run Hi-tough flanges and the other has Maxi Drive flanges.

Thanks, yes it's pre '94, I had one CV out yesterday looks to be 2522 to me as it should be. I assume HTE make the axles 24 spline at the diff end as I have an upgraded centre?

Well pushed the go button on the CVs and I'll organise the HT axles tomorrow. Hopefully Ashcroft can get the CVs here quickly.

I'll be all setup for a locker in the front soon, hmm....

If it has drum rears it will have the 2522 Cv's,in late 93 they changed to disc rears and fitted the later front ends to the last of the 200Tdi's.
I had a 93 with drum brakes and 2522's and my 110 is the last of the 200Tdi's and has later cv's.Year models can be deceptive, especially if you are like me and have something that came out at the time when models were at a changeover point.
Hi-Tough axles can be ordered to suit,so just order the type you need.

    Oh they are quick.....

About 6 weeks ago I ordered and paid for my front locker from Ashcroft's, 4 days latter it was on the door step.

    Haha.....I wish,

The Air locker, heavy duty gears, pegged, diff casting and fully set up.
    $2400 to the door..
Compared to the cost of an ARB locker - then setting it up, the price is very good. Plus I got HD gears and pegging as a bonus
