Hi Chris and how do you have the pack connected to the vehicle’s power.
Is it via a dedicated power supply or just through a cigarette power socket?
G day folks, I would like your collective opinion on charging my emergency battery jump pack.
I purchased a reasonable size jump pack through S/Cheap ( suitable for small diesels ) & I have it set up to charge/ top up from the vehicle while ever the ignition is on.
Thing is it always seems to be low on charge when I go to use it.
It has been fully charged off the household mains a number of times but just doesn't seem to respond well if left in the vehicle.
Iam thinking that it is not happy with a constant trickle charge ( the vehicle is a daily driver of at least 1 hr a day ) or possibly as it is connected at all times it is draining back but Iam not sure how as the charge/circuit is only made with the vehicle running.
Ant thoughts?
Regards Chris.

G day & thanks for your query, I fitted a dual socket + USB Dock to the back of my centre console ( Narva brand ) one socket is powered direct, the other & the USB are powered with ignition ( this is the one that the jump pack is connected to ) all circuits are via thermal overloads via a multi fuse box box I installed.
The lead that I have used from the dock ( socket ) to the jump pack is what came with the jump pack.
I have a quality in line amp tester that I could check this circuit with but I am not sure what sort of amps would be considered acceptable for this type of charging.
Regards Chris.
