Making the most of the Brown out.

After a long hard day if work...
I was half way cooking my dinner when we started having a brown out. The lights were surging in and out and the fans in the kitchen slowed down. I started to think about finding a torch or light when the lights cut out completely. So out came the head torch!! Whilst my dinner was cooked and my belly was full, I knew the old folks would be home with empty bellies and tired eyes. So I set to work. I lit the fire and a trail of candles. Some bread, olive oil and dukkah. Wrapped up some spuds and prepared some steak. And done forget the slices of salami to cook up for for entree. I got the beer and the Jack ready and home the came. Nothing like a camp meal on a Tuesday night. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1400583491.276420.jpg

Remote control brownout module is working well

Stuck late at work - trigger the brownout module - and dinner is ready and waiting when I get home.

Ahhh - the world is perfect

Note to self......only works in winter. Summer will probably only result in warm beer.
