Wasting time,, as per usual , checking out old trucks and stuff, generally the old Russian jobs are pretty cool to watch, but in amongst them was this vid.

I found it very interesting to watch a guy rebuild this old engine the way he did.
As I think back to my younger days, I've done two motors in a similar type enviroment, one specifically in, or on a gravel driveway. Success with both for me One 202 Holden motor, it had destroyed a piston for the secong time, so I said to Dad that I'd rebuild it This was my first engine build. The other was my old 2.25 Series 3 motor. Used the excuse that it got a gut full of mud whilst in a Mud Run (Wodonga) .
