well were both selected "selected households", mine arrived today aswell
received a letter today, " to selected householders'. There is an impressive coat of arms on the envelope, almost like the Australian one. A cursory glance would suggest so. A closer look reveals two kangaroos either side of a star. Inside the letter heading says" EXCHANGE $10 FOR A $10 SILVER COIN ." There is an impressive title ' MACQUARIE MINT'. They are a trading company masquerading as a government mint. The coin is official Kiribati legal tender, they would have you believe. [ Kiribati currency is $1.$1 Aus. ]
My issue is- this is a scam, should it be allowed. Or should buyer beware. Bob
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food
A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

awwww bugger.....I feel left out....I haven't got one.
Not a scam as they are up front about what they are selling
but
buyer beware.
It is not Australian legal tender.
Yep, I received that a while ago and filed it under "G" for garbage!!!

Franklin Mint have been around for many years. They are a company which produces 'collectables' for collectors.
