    LPG diagnostic tools

    G'day.
Is there diagnostic tools available for different gas installations that we can purchase ?
Being able to puchase something like our Nanacoms to plug into our gas systems would be great.
Ours is a Sprint Gas system and the nearest agent is 800 klm round trip away. Bugger that.

Precisely which Sprint gas system is it? Once you have identified the model you need to purchase a tuning cable and software and use a laptop computer. The laptop doesn't need to be particularly flash, ebay has tons of small windows machines suitable for the job.

Well I have finally been able to identify the system we have in The Bitch.
Its an OMVL Dream Sequential Vapour Injection System.
Fitted by Bruce Davis in 2006.
    Crikey.
First up can I get myself my own Diagnostic tools to plug into this thing ?
    What and from where ?

Second is this system worth continueing with ?
It has worked pretty well in the past I am told but hasn't for about twelve months with the problem that I have outlined in another thread.

I am at a crossroads here and not sure how to proceed.
I can travell to Townsville to have it serviced I think, I havent spoken to the Bloke yet. Probably the way to go to get it working now.
But I would like to have diagnostics, learn how to use it and check the future system faults myself if possible.
    Is it worth it ?

    Ta.

    Have a look here: http://p38arover.com/lpg/Dream%2021%...Guide-4440.pdf

    The Dream file might help.

Maybe worth emailing Bruce. As you are a fair way from Sydney, he might help out with the software.

    LPG diagnostic tools

Those files from Fesauto won't download with Chrome - it thinks they are malicious. I downloaded them with Firefox and will run a virus check on them.
The file on my website is ok.

    Software for LPG Autogas Systems

    It has the OMVL software.
Well I downloaded the OMVL software onto my PC, it put a shortcut on the desktop.
Shortcut would not work, delving into it, nothing worked, so I deleted the download.

Question: Does this software need to be downloaded to my laptop and then be connected to gas system under the bonett before it will work ?
If so which cabling stuff do I need purchase that will be compatible.
I put a couple of samples below.

The Nanacom was easy but I know nothing about gas systems and stuff so I am just feeling my way into it.
