oil cooler line placement 300TDI

G'day all, I pulled off my oil cooler lines off to repair the leaks and forgot to note which way round they go. Can someone tell me where the line from against the block goes to. Top or bottom of the oil cooler.

I have a 300tdi disco, dont know if it is the same but mine are different lengths. The one which taps in closet to the block is the longest and goes to the top fitting for oil cooler in the radiator and the bottom one is the short length which taps in above oil filter.
