    Hey, Jim! Ian's awfully quiet.

Being from the southern states, I have no idea why.

You want to hear the story? Are you sitting comfortably? Then let's begin.

For the last eight years Queensland has demonstrated its absolute superiority (in all things) over NSW, in a series of annual football (the real one) matches. After eight years and twenty four games the punters were becoming nonchalant and Lang Park looked like it wasn't going to be its usual sell out. The last seats didn't sell until the afternoon of the match, and they had been heavily discounted. So to rekindle the "edge of the seat" excitement Queensland had to allow the Blues the first win. Do not despair, Queensland will take the series again with two consecutive wins.

In all seriousness, congratulations NSW, you deserved the win. It's a shame Queensland didn't play the whole game as well as they played the second half.

Beware the wounded cane toad, it is far too early to gloat! Well played, though. Bob
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Dunno, I can't hear any rustling from Newcastle, pretty quite here in Lake Macquarie though.

Darius Boyd is copping flack in the press here, seems he just cruises along when he pulls a Knights jersey on but when he plays for Queensland he puts in a bit of effort.

Might have something to do with him being owed $200,000 in back money. Anybody would get the ****s if they are owed money.
