Yesterday driving from Eildon to Packenham passed seven Land Rovers County/ Defenders one being a yellow Ninety and waved to all got one wave back. Also passed one Range Rover Classic ute bright green in colour and one other Classic no replies either and to add insult to injury passed three Discoveries with one wave in return. Now i know i only drive a rough old P38 Range Rover but after yesterday i feel like a Red Headed Bastard step child for driving a Range Rover what happened to the friendly return wave here in Victoria.![]()

PM ME FOR WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR
I often wave to Disco and Rangie owners and get nothing back..... I am however in an ex military box that few know as a Land Rover!! If I see you I will be waving!! Digger had this at Melrose on a little card.. Perhaps you need an enlarged copy mounted on the front of the Rangie!![]()
Maybe not everyone notices, I often get chipped by my missus for not waving back or seeing a friend drive past, if I don't wave back it's because I didn't notice you or your wave, not because I'm uppity, far from it, Regards Frank.
I wave if I see a fellow landie, but as said before half the time if someone waves at me I don't see it.. Just get in the "zone" when driving I guess![]()
If that was on the maroondah highway north of healsville it probably was a lrocv trip to narbethong, which I participated in.
I was driving a red county and didn't notice your wave, if I did I would have waved back.
