need to borrow a perentie, any type will do.

My son's birthday is Saturday and part of the plans is having a section of the yard cordened off for a bit of a treasure hunt and a nerf gun battle.

I know it's out there but is there anyone close to the switch whose perentie I can line up for a few hours of being parked up and used as a treasure chest/ obstacle/shield.

Failing that I need one or two vehicles, I'd prefer four wheel drives as the kids will be able to shoot from under and around them.

Dave, I am sure there are a couple at your workplace that are off the books and could be borrowed.

Bugger. Mine now lives in Canberra.
I'll chase up the new owner of my RFSV and see what we can do.
    Cheers, BDave.

Oh theres a reason I havent touched them.....

Its not cause I probably couldnt just roll one away and not have anyone be any wiser....

    OH... new theft technique.

take the plates off of 4 vehicles, fill the log book in for repairs on the front bar work on them, then swap in 3 sets of wrong plates onto the wrong vehicles, distribute the vehicles among the parking lot and make off with the 4th vehicle. make sure that both plates from your vehicle are on 2 different vehicles. Dispose of the left over 2 plates ensuring they are different plates.

takes about 6 months for people to catch on as number plates get reported as being there and not there when people check the front or rear at random.

Not sure what concerns me most....

The fact that you have thought about this, in a clear & concise manner, or the fact that it didn't require much thought at all, cause it is second nature...

    Oh no, I've just gone cross-eyed . . .
At any given point in time, somewhere in the world someone is working on a Land-Rover.

Sounds more like "What did Dave solve at work this week because he gives a crap and has an eye for detail!"

Stuff like this makes any concerns of over-arching government conspiracies like Roswell, very short thoughts
    Cheers, BDave.
