    Landy Long Way From Home

    G'day everybody.
I was at my Land Rover mechanics place today getting some work done and spotted this little gem near the workshop.I was wondering if any of our members down in Tassie have any background on it.

She is in wonderful condition a lovely little landy 1958 build

    At a guess - I'd say he's single.

Almost seems a shame seeing all these prime examples sitting around not being used.
    Cheers .........

OK, I'm locking the gate from now on!

At least they still exist, he may be rescuing 'strays'.
the third down on the right in the series row needs a cut and polish.... or a cut and edging!
Does he part any out, or part with them?

(more importantly.. is there a gunbuggy in there? mmmmmm gunbuggy...)

He parts them and sells them, his missus is telling him to start getting rid of them so he is keen to unload right now. Those pictures are only the back yard!!! i ran out of battery so i couldn't take any of the front and down the side.

I would estimate in total there would be around 150-200 Land rovers in the yard from series 1 all the way to D2 and Range rovers from the start to the end of the classic series. He won't touch anything late model.

But sadly no gunbuggy But there a few army trailers kicking around
