    Jim Keays

I'm starting to feel old with all these 'old rockers' dying......
Yet another great Aussie band looses one of the greats...............

yes, RIP Jim, sincerest sympathies to his family and friends. He was a great bloke and always the performer, even when he was unwell after chemo he would still try and perform and not let his fans down, he loved to perform. I remember a gig we had to raise money for the Variety SA 4WD Challenge with Jim and Russell Morris - even though Jim was very unwell he still came to the venue hoping to perform but just could not go on stage. At another gig for the same cause he performed but had to go and sit in the car for a quick kip before coming back in and signing autographs for the fans. A great bloke and so humble. A true icon of Aussie rock.

Never saw them live unfortunately, was one of those bands where I made the mistake of 'getting into them' later.......
    Hindsight is a wonderful thing...........
