300tdi leakoff hose size

hi all can anyone tell me what size the injector leak off hoses are on my110 defender 300tdi as mine are knackered also do they have to be braided.

Without looking at mine as I am at work I think from memory they are 3.2mm. Don't have to be braided, I have used ~ 3mm fuel line before without any dramas

Just checked my braided hose on the spill rail, 3.5mm internal diameter, 8mm external including the braiding. My two other lines don't have braiding, they are just standard 3.5mm ID fuel line (rated for diesel of course) that I bought at the local car shop in south hedland several years ago. Had no probs with them

Extra length of hose is a good spare for longer trips, as these are known to leak (as you have discovered...).
