    Muddy Alternator

Took the Rangy out at the weekend for a bit of a drive with some friends, one driving a Landcruiser, and I was very impressed with the car capabilities even with my road tyres on (as I was still waiting on my coopers) things were going great till we started heading back to the road, my battery light came on ( alternator only replaced 2 months ago) luckily for me the Landcruiser had the same problem so he couldn't criticise. Decided when I got home to remove the alternator myself which was surprisingly a lot easier than I thought, no removal of fan or cooling pipes required. Cleaned up the alternator and refitted, good as new only cost me a can of electrical contact spray. Finally got a set of Cooper LTZ's fitted and can't wait to try them out.
