I may be wrong but I believe thats a 'standard' deluxe bonnet,
I thought they were available all over definately in USA & Canada as well.
The vehicle may not be especially remarkable, but the story behind it is mildly interesting.
My brother was in Germany recently and spotted this Land Rover competing in a classic car fund raising rally. I assume that speed was not an important consideration since there were a lot of Porches, E Types and Alfas and similar European cars in the event.
i thought that style of bonnet was only fitted to Series IIIs in Australia. Is that right?

The deluxe bonnet was available from the start of S2a production. It was standard on Series 3, and, I think, standard on S2a lwb, at least when fitted with cab or hardtop.
