I like the head up display that uses cameras under the front of the car to effectively make the bonnet disappear.
Was having a read of the latest wheels mag. Most likely not new news for die hard land rover-ites. But I may be able to surprise them. There is a concept vehicle that has a lot of new technology on it being tested for the new Discovery. Three items of interest are a forward mounted laser that can check water depth ( and cut down annoying bystanders? ) Night vision through inferred sensors. New head lights that will increase the light range by three hundred meters.

Night vision is good BUt thermal imaging is a better idea, it would help pick up those roos through bushes on the side of the road. Probably a bit annoying in the city with all those hot engines and steamy passengers, may be good for seeing what's going on in the back of those blacked out limousines on Fri and Sat nights![]()
