    cable to Aux connector

    Hi,
i am trying to get a cable from the Aux connector in a D4 to the top of the dash unit. Taking apart the console is all OK (from the the cupholders to the dash). I found the threads on that. I even have the Aux connector out with my new cable extension soldered on. I just can't find an easy way to get it from there to through the middle console (arm rest). does anyone know how to take that out?

The Bin/Centre cubby box under the console centre arm rest i assume you mean?
To remove you need too remove the Lid, 2 T30 maybe T40 torx bits on the rear edges(Facing the seats) then lift the chrome comers up & away. Remove lid by opening lid to vertical & lift out. The centre console by what you have said is already removed, so i can also assume you have removed the single panel in front of the cubby box. You will see 2 T20 torx bits that need to be removed & then you just lift the bottom of the cubby box up & out. It can be stubborn.

    Cheers HTH.
