    RRS potential rust spot

When the body was removed from the RRS
I was shown a build up of wet/rotting leaf debris behind the wheel arch cover and the cabin
I guess this is getting in from the back of the bonnet and down through the inner wing?
Will have to remove this build up every few months
    Don't have any pictures.

    Same in D4

I dropped a socket down in the guard of the D4 sometime ago now and released the bottom of inner guard lining to get it out. Full on leaves and sand and damp. Cleared it out and also the other side the same as well, but does look like a potential trouble spot.

Yeah, it gets full of wet mud, sand and anything else as I found when I removed the old shredded mud flaps and put on new Chinese copies. No sign of any rust or anything on my 2010 D4 though.

Same when I removed the arch liners when looking for my suspension fault - I think mine was always parked under some trees by the previous owner - I got some good compost out of it...
