Not quite sure you want my list, but i'll give you a summary of all the items that have "failed" on my vehicle whilst touring Australia.. (i have an approach now, stay within 200km of a dealership..)
 
1) Suspension Struts
2) Suspension Compressor
3) Suspension Airlines
4) Turbo's
5) Cooling System - everything pipe's, radiator, etc
6) Turbo pipes
7) BCU Computers
8) Power Steering System
9) Hand Brake Assembly
10) Car Window Mechanisms
11) Gearbox
12) Rear Tailgate Struts
13) Starter Motor
14) Wheel Bearings (front)
15) Bushes etc Front Sway
16) Brake Pedal/Switch
17) MAF Sensors, EGR Valves
18) New Main Battery
19) Multi other computer components
20) Rear Parking Sensors (note: my rear is standard setup only front changed)
21) Windscreen Wipers
22) Multiple batteries in keys? why do they last 6 months?
23) Disc Rotor issues (not brake pads?)
24) Air Suspension sensors and valves
Most of the items above are repeat items, plus there is a heap of "small" things that i didn't list. Plus a few big ones that we are still confirming including possible engine.! I should also note we have ongoing issues with the vehicle that are logged in the car, but unable to find and determine the issues.. So we have lots of open ones..
 
The funny thing is i carry some hoses, belts and filters (fuel/air) with me, other then the air filter i've not needed any of my spares i carry with me..
 
This is for my TDV8 RRS Sport, that has been setup for touring.. Thought you might like my current running list... (BTW this has all occurred in the last 12 months)
 
Actually the caravan park i am in has a couple of D3's currently with one guy about 160K on the clock. He just had the entire engine replaced in it at Gold Coast LR as the engine threw a conrod.. He's not that happy... But he's back on the road, we were sharing our thoughts on everything the other day.
