WA Government departments lose mobiles, laptops worth $484,000
Taxpayer-funded laptops and mobile phones valued at $484,000 were either stolen or lost from West Australian Government departments in the last financial year.
I can bet that some of the WA regional hospitals would love to have that money.

As opposed to NSW - where there seems to be a steady procession of politicians of both persuasions marching out of Parliament and straight in the front door of the CCC or whatever they call it over there.
Is it true that the latese rego plates over there are emblazoned with the logo - "NSW - State of Corruption".
But yes - that amount of money in "lost" computers and phones should be raising some eyebrows. Seems to fit in with many people's perception of the public service - no accountability and care factor zero.
