Screensaver. There are a few standard images available It's a menu option somewhere buried in display options or something. Can't find it again for the life of me either...
I was pressing a few "buttons" on the touchscreen today whilst I should have been paying attention to driving.
Anyhow the "normal" display that shows wireless, audio, phone dissapeared and a loverley pic of a D4 in a forrest appeared. The wirless continued to play without interuption.Next time I touched it the screen went black, the wireless wasnt affected, and the station details were still on the dashboard.
I pressed the steering wheel controls, dont ask which one,I dont know, and normality returned to the centre display.Any ideas what I did and where that D4 came from.Dont tell me this thing has its own stickbook collection of D4s that can appear for owner operators(*******) on the centre dash

Now that is a new one for me.... When I get home I will look for it on my display and see what lovely images appear for my perusal.![]()

Only way I can get back to this is to push the 'Set Up' button on the centre console (manual pushbuttons) and in 'screen' - 'screensaver', there is a few different graphics options. I have the 'Landrover in the forest' selected, but I have never seen it go to the screensaver.
To get the screen saver to come up you select the power icon, bottom left on the touch screen from memory, not the one on the volume dial. If you select the power icon again from that screen it turns the touch screen off, but not the actual system. Good when driving at night so you get less cabin glare.
Mine has the screensaver option of a clock. Just what I need another clock. I did not see the pictures. I will have to "explore" again.
