Is George wearing a kilt or just has his favourite blankey because it's a tad chilly willy?

I took a few photos but because I was driving by myself none of them were of the wheeling.

Campsite photos - a beautiful spot just to camp even if there were no tracks to add to the fun.

The only others I took were of the waterfall that is on the property.

That water was very cold!! Dangled the feet in for a while and couldn't feel them on the walk back up to the car. Would be great for a swim in summer.

The wheeling was good, lots of different stuff but the damage list for the weekend for me was panel damage to the back right corner, bent the chassis outrigger and panel and broke the fibreglass flare, bent the handbrake backing plate and had to straighten that out, knocked off a couple of the studs and nuts that hold the transfer case sump on (fortunately still held it's oil) and broke the drivers side (short) axle halfway up a very steep and loose climb. Thanks again to Rod for winching me up to the top. Pulled the axle out and it had broken right near the drive flange so it took a while to get all the metal pieces out from around the bearing. Drove home in front wheel drive without any real issues. And thanks to Dave for shepherding me home at what has to be a slow speed for a D3, even with a camper.

Maybe now is the time to get the locker and heavy duty axles......

    Cheers,

Some shameful self promotion - only downloaded these ones so far of the creek run on the last day - with the launch! I tired to stay with the big boys with no lockers so ended up a little stuck in places - the odd rock and some right foot sorted it in the end.

Thankfully the sliders are super strong!

Trying to get up a tricky section under Pete's watchful eye and a lot of guidance from Grimace re line and right foot

Lifting a leg then no traction

Some right foot and a launch

    And again

    Some digging as well

Got there - e-locker coming for Coffs (also hope under-drive in by then too)

Other important item is to stop the stalling when hot and off accelerator/on brakes

Thanks for a good weekend all - will post more pics tonight when not working.

    Discovered Video Editing

OK yes I have discovered video editing - actually for a blended learning project at work needed to get better at using the tools so started with the GoPro editor.

I then searched and found some free software to convert JPG and AVI files from my SLR camera into MP4 that can import into the GoPro editor.

This allowed me to merge content from both sources. Then exported and uploaded to my own youtube channel!

Now I just need to get the camera fixed at better angle on truck - outside - so capture the action closer up.

Here are two creek runs and then the wet rock winch challenge (which is a compilation of some earlier posts I know)!
