    Bucket seats

I want to put some bucket seats in my 99d1 I like the late xr falcon seats but realize they might be abit hard to bolt in...anyone else put bucket seats in? Id like to fit 4 point race harnesses aswell if possible?

I put recaro's in mine. But I do recall that falcon buckets a nearly a straight bolt in, I think one hole needs drilling.

May need an engineering approval depending on what state you are in. Definitely (a blue mod plate) in Queensland.

Does the late D1 have a one piece seat and base like a D2?

If so it is a big job to install other seats as the mounts are assymetric.

Please have alook and if it is one piece I can give you some info on how to do it, and it should not need engineering approval as the seat belt mounts and attachments remain as stock.

    Regards Philip A
