    The Iraq War, BBC documentary.

It seems timely to go back to the beginning of the troubles, an excellent documentary, and an eye opener, Bob

after the fall is most interesting

Is this the one from last night on Foxtel?

A lot of the failings for what we have now seem to fall in the lap of Paul Bremer in 2003. Most notably the disbanding of the Iraqi Army.

Even after WWII the Allies used the Japanese Army to control the occupied countries like Indonesia. A huge failing by G Dubilya and the neo-con hawks in his administration.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Yes, it is from fox, but I know not every one has fox, so I thought it was worthwhile posting it up, I think it is the best I have seen. If you watch it through, even though it is a long watch, you get an understanding of the can of worms Iraq is, and if you watch the 2nd one, it opens your eyes as to how the Americans had no idea how to win the peace, after winning the War. I think it gives you a better understanding of what's happening now.

The only one that looked like solving the problem was the Brazilian Diplomat the UN sent [ can't remember his name] and Al Qaida blew him up. Just when he was on the brink of a solution. If you follow the dots & connect them to today, Al Qaida & ISIS seem to be the only ones with a long term plan. That plan has stumbled with the beheading of the 2 Americans by what I think is a feral offshoot of the main group, even Al Qaida doesn't want to know them. Those 2 incidents could be the " Pearl Harbour" incident of this War, America will have its revenge. And it won't care who else gets in the road. Bob
