One danger i do see with this comp is cashed up European and Japanese clubs and even the NRL poaching emerging talent.Not sure of the ARU's ability to compete with this threat.

Hi,
Hopefully the revival of this tier of Aussie Rugby will keep our talent in rugby. Talented club rugby players only had the option of overseas and rugby league if they didn't make it to Super Rugby. Now that the ARU isn't the sole money provider the NRC should be around for a while, hopefully. Foxtel and or free to air TV need to televise more games as well. Also, why isn't there any merchandise/memberships available?

The Western Sydney Rams are playing the Sydney Stars, Saturday, I think, and the game is being streamed live on their website www.ramsrugby.com.au Not much publicity for this comp, which is disappointing.
