Why the Islamic State will not endure

Posted this in another thread, but I think it is important enough for its own, Bob

BBC News - Viewpoint: Why Islamic State will not endure
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Yes, have to admit, it is a very well written & informative article. And when you read thru as much as you can stand of what's been written about the muddle East, makes sense. At least to me. Bob

Good couple of articles Bob, thanks. The BBC is a great source for these types of articles, as is the English financial times (which covers a lot more then finance).
My daughter is studying Terrorism at Uni, it is a mind boggling area full of tribal and national complexities.
    Cheers

Now that the Turkish people that were in captivity are free it would be interesting how Turkey will act in the conflict.
