    2013 Puma Snorkel install

    G'day Guys.

I know im new here but im currently attempting to install a snorkel onto a 2013 2.2L puma has anyone had any issues with fitting these? basically it doesnt seem to quite fit the car. I was wondering is there any differences between the 2.2 and 2.4L or even some subtle change in the last couple of years that could make the snorkel not fit properly?

    Cheers
    Troy

Should be the same. What brand are you fitting?

    Hey LoveB

It is a Sherpa 4x4 snorkel, they seem to be a smaller brand. Im talking with their support department at the moment Ill let you know what the outcome is.

My Safari went on my 2.2 with a minimum of difficulty, just make sure you use plenty of sensor safe sealant otherwise your snorkel will be for nought

Just had a look at the Sherpa website, don't fit the snorkel head sideways or backwards as their pics show. You'll wind up with a vacuum instead of pressure in your air box. I don't understand why people fit them backwards, even noticed a few new army g class mercs with the heads on backwards?
