Alibaba suspension

Anyone had any dealings with Alibaba? im looking at their air suspension
land rover discovery 3 - search result, Guangzhou HX Auto Parts Manufacturing Co., Ltd.

My Mrs isnt a big fan of the disco but i like it, and given she is the boss we may sell it so i don't want to spend 2k on suspension but i do need something so has anyone brought anything like suspension through Alibaba?

I've dealt with alibaba a little. It's a trading site so sometimes you're dealing with a manufacturers own sale dept, sometimes you're dealing with a one-man-band trader.

No issues so far. Quality does vary in line with price for the same item. So if you see the same thing for sale at two different prices there usually is a difference in quality.

$502 US a pair delivered for reconditioned with 3 months warranty.
not so sure thats a bargain?????

Take a look at the price of the allmakes PR ones from the uk. They are Delphi shocks and Dunlop bags. I have them in mine they are fine (stiffer than standard) and were a lot cheaper than LR or oem Delphi. From memory they were about $1200 for the set of four delivered. HTH

$1557 for all 4 through allmakes plus i assume id get lumbered with some sort of import tax

Buy them in pairs a week or so apart is what I did to ensure I didn't run afoul of that issue. I thought mine were a fair bit less than that, suppose time and exchange rates have changed the price.
