power steering for an 89 Perentie

Does anyone know who could put power steering in a 89 perentie on the northern beaches and roughly what the cost would be?

I'm in the Northern Beaches and will happily drive your Perentie around for you while researching how to put power steering in! Might take a couple of months.

Did I see you a few days ago in Frenches Forest/Wakehurst Parkway?

As Laurie says, KLR have it in hand. They've done quite a few now.

    They even do a kit.

+1 for KLR. I had mine done a few weeks ago and it made a world of difference to throwing No 19 around (FFR)

They are very keen for me to install a turbo kit. Must admit a very nice kit but after the Sundays trip out to Coxs River with the Landrover Club, its first real run, I was delighted with the available grunt and power and had no trouble keeping up with all those sitting in their luxurious air-conditioned Disco's (Bells line of road). However was very jealous of them on the dirt not having to eat all the dust as my dog and I did.

One member put it into perspective when he said, 'well what do you expect with a tent on wheels'
Yeh, still was very impressed with No 19 and as Summer closes in will remove the canopy and enjoy the open air.

In case you haven't worked it out yet, if you roll the sides up but leave the back down you will keep most of the dust out.

Roll the sides up and remove the door tops if you have to, but I think you'll still need a roof if you're going far (the sun gets fairly intense)
