    The Lion King stage show, excellent production

    Just got back from the Lion King stage show. Well worth seeing, The costumes were amazing, African music was written & performed by the South African composer Lebo M. Some of his music, Bob;;

    It was at the Lyric theatre, South Bank, which has a smallish stage, but the show was done so well, you didn't really notice that. The children who played young Simba & young Nala were very good. Dinner at the Turkish Restaurant before hand, all in all a great night. The only blemish, the parking fees at South Bank. But we didn't let that worry us, Bob

    The talent on show was spectacular, and at the end , the sheer joy on their faces was contagious. Every now & again we need to be reminded of the great things humans can achieve. Especially now. Bob

    I saw it when it first came out about 10 years ago. Went to Sydney as they said it would never come to Melb.It did.

    Was well worth it though. It was a brilliant show.

    I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."
