I Hate DIY........ I'm Over it... Please Kill Me.....

Hey,
I'm Bloody over the DIY thing on Disco's
How many weeks have i been telling you all i've been building this Storage System....

It never Ends....

1st it was simple rear system. Then i thought... Jerry can holders....2 Seater. Bigger storage...
Then the Front section was waisted..... So a Front Storage....
Then i thought.... A inside Storage Cage.... Then maybe a rear Table on the Door.

Mmmmm Need Power at the rear for the Fridge and Shower and Flouro's

And a Better Reverse Light......

What am i going to do with the HiLift??? Where do i find jacking points???
Where will i mount it??

If it rains when we Have a coffee can we keep dry... Need an Awning...

So i got excited... i had the Master plan to build the Best equiped non commercial LR ever...... Ha Ha Ha... next I'll conquer the WORLD.....

I designed i built i'm testing.... I'm over it all.....

Pix are in the Gallery under "Volvo164 aka Clarkie"

I'm going to build a Web page dedicated to the Self destruction of human life with the Building of the TDI....

Mrs Clarkie last night asked me how much longer i'll be working on the 4WD. I said "Its British..... i'll be working on it until we sell it...."

So she asked me to have a break and spend some time with her and the Pets.... Poor Pussy was getting neglected.... (the cat you filthy animals... )

But i have not finished... I'm adicted.... i have to spend time on the Disco.... I'll sneak out at 3am and wipe the oil off the transfer case....

So i've almost finished until we come back from the Highcountry Trip on the 11th of Feb.

Only have to do the Wheel bearing Selas and Thats it.

So the List i've done so far..... Please check these off the Gunna List...

Steve take a Bex and have a lie down. I like the comment on it being British I'll stop working on it when we sell it.
It makes you wonder why? 8O
Why do we bother? 8O
Then when it all comes together for that brief majic moment once every life time. When all the planets align and the circle of life is in perfect harmony. Then, and only then, we know as only a Landrover Owner can know it's the worlds best 4x4.
Well done and congratulations on a good looking and well thought out project. 8) 8)

Maybe our better halves could meet and have a tea party (or how those gatherings are called these days)

All i can say, is that, its a good thing we do it for the love of it. At least you are closer to the end than I am. I havent even started yet. But its what us Landy folk do, we take an already awsome product and make it even better. Matt
