Be sure that will change with the new model, I see it will be at the Brisbane motor show thus weekend
oops: This weekend
The Disco (and even Rangie) sales slumps may be explained by people waiting for a new Disco3.
The Defender slump (and the others) - probably something to do with the fact that LR do bugger all advertsign / promotion etc. I mean it doesn't take a genius....
I read the car section of the paper every week - ALWAYS Jeep ads in there and usually most other makes as well.
I have NEVER seen a Land Rover ad. Not once. People could be forgiven for not considering them or even knowing they exist.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

Note that I know of , but hey
I think that LR's problem is the lack of updates. The defender has remained relatively unchanged, excluding the move to TD5, for over a decade. The disco about the same, the move to TD5 (series II), only changed the engine and the enlarged the interior space a little. People want a regular progression and regular improvements. They now need replace the Freelander, Range Rover and Defender with vehicles as good as disco 3. Given this, i think that Land Rover sales will increase. Matt

For the sake of the brand, lets hope thats the grand plan
I think, that if ford has started to get on top of the build quality issues, people will see this in the Disco 3 and faith will be resored in the next new models. MattOriginally posted by Tyrepower
