    Electric Brake Controller factory plug?

I've read elsewhere that D3's have a factory fitted plug under the dashboard which can be used to plug an Electric brake controller directly into and therefore I don't need to run a new wire all the way back to the trailer plug (as its already there??). I look under my dash but can't find any spare plugs. Its a 2005 D3 HSE. Is it only on some models?

Do a search, but I think that the plug, (Ford spec) is only fitted to North American market vehicles.

Given the high incidence of electric brake controller use in Australia, I don't know why it can't be included in the Oz spec Land Rover products too?

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

I'm pretty sure that it was categorically confirmed that this plug is not present in D3/4's, only RRS.
