    LR vs Toyota

    hi all,

Went along my business today and parked in the hornsby area for lunch with some colleagues upon return right next to me was a yellow toyota parked next to my Disco 2. Upon closer inspection of the vehicle I noticed a not so nice blurb on the lower bumper, you may need to zoom in to see it. It reads LR recovery vehicle, so rude. Anyway thought I would take a pic and share whats out there these days. cheers

You see those types of stickers on so many vehicles, all claiming to be the recovery vehicle for another brand.

Plenty of "Toyota recovery vehicle" stickers on Defenders, so no skin off anyone's noses.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

    TAP

I saw TAP on the back of a Defender once. I asked what it meant.

    "Toyota Attachment Point"

Yeah, those sort of stickers are pretty common. Mostly "Nissan Recovery Vehicle" on Toyo's and vice versa!!!

Maybe the sticker should have read " Beware, butt ugly vehicle attached ", those FJ's are something not even a mother could love.

We prefer strong robust features, a bit like the girl with a lovely personality
By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

You'll notice it doesn't stand out very well. They must be a bit uncertain of its capability as such

Am impressed that a Toyota owner is putting a public notice up that the vehicle is to only be recovered by a Land-Rover !
