    seat bases on series 3

    Hello again,

do the "raised channels"? on the seat bases that stop (kind of) the seats from moving either sideways or forwards have a part number or specific name? I can't find mention of them in the parts manual or three Haynes manuals I have. The closest I got was a Haynes from the mid 90's that shows a diagram of the seat base assemblies on which they appear , but they are not numbered or named.

As usual , any help greatly appreciated.

    cheers,

    D

Parts manual has them as far as I can see. Group M Section 2J 09. Pages around that have all the stuff on the sliding bases even.

They are called "seat supports" apparently.
