Land Rover squeaks and rattles kit

We had an annoying little squeak develop in the back of my 110. When we picked it up from the dealer today they said Land Rover provide a squeaks and rattles kit to the dealers which involves removing the rear interior and fitting padding and tape.

Result = no squeaks so far.

It was a very quiet drive home.

My squeak & rattle kit is located in the dash center between the power window buttons.
It's effectiveness can be increased and decreased at the simple turn of a round button.

Normally they don't bother me. I've driven plenty of old cars but this one was at a pitch that went straight through me.

    It's gone now anyway.

Squeaks and rattles kit for a Defender

It'd be fairly big and comprehensive

Does the kit add the squeaks and rattles or remove them? I think mine is fitted with the squeaks and rattles fitting kit.

Would love to know more about this! I judge the condition of the road now more by the sound from the interior than the feel through the wheel.

The kit is 12 cans of this:

The 90 only needs 6 cans.

...I was thinking more along the lines of a new 200 series land cruiser
(Did I just say that aloud?)

If the landie was as well-designed and built as the landcruiser, we'd have nothing to spend all our spare time fiddling with.... Then what'd we do - drive about the outback?

    You betcha!
I wouldn't have it any other way. It's not the destination but how you get there.
