I think it would have been a trip of lifetime. It amazes me the whole story of the incredible Airships of that period. What a way to travel

There are people who spend all weekend cleaning the car.
And there are people who drive Discovery.
The Zeppelins, and a very few other airships, provided luxury travel - as did many airliners from about 1930 to 1960, at least for long distance travel. They had to - because the only people who could afford tickets were the very wealthy, and expected it.
Airships were roomy, but so were the big flying boats.
