Only that LPG has a very drying effect on the valves. Some use flashlube to help reduce this.
does anyone know if there are any problems running in a motor on straight lpg?
thanks..

You must run it in on petrol as the rings need to bed in, if not you will never have good compression and the new engine will die quickly. I would run about 800-1000k's if its a full rebuild before using lpg.
So how do they get these newer factory fitted LPG only cars to not drop their lunch if there is no petrol tank to switch to ? Run 'em in at the factory ? :?
I have never seen a factory fitted lpg only vehicle unless specifically coverted, and most new cars are run in before sold.
Ford do "dedecated" LPG vehciles as a factory option,ie no petrol.

Yeah, basically a taxi without the non english speaking moron behind the wheel. They would still be run in probably on petrol or some special brew before sale.
