LPG on 98 5 litre Holden

Can anyone tell me if it's worthwhile putting lpg on a commode 5litre v8. Will be using it to go from Batemans bay to Eden and back nightly.its for work and don't get paid fuel allowance.😢

Mine drove better on LPG than petrol, you need to change plugs and give it a bit more advance, why don't you use the Td6,it'll burn under 9ltres per 100 and cost you nothing to set up. Pat

My neighbours put 400,000km on their VT 5.0 before they traded it on a VE, it didn't have any engine wear problems. They're a good motor for gas. You should be able to find a used kit at a wreckers for a few hundred and get it fitted somewhere. A V6 kit is very similar except for the wiring connections to the engine, it shouldn't take much to fit one to a V8.
