Not sure about most but the adds indicate that it is simply inane and bogon.
Don't people have purpose and drive in their lives that keeps them away from this crap?

It just shows us how lacking in creativity the people in TV production are these days that and how much disdain TV particularly Foxtel have for the TV consumers.

Wont be watching it that is for sure.
I dont think the bogan tag is correct. The bogan tag gets used for so much these days and is certainly not the original meaning of bogan from back in the 50s.
I think it more about the look at me crowd who cannot get their 5 minutes of fame anywhere else.
Also it will not be real but more about acting up.

Australian content quota?
I thought the Australian content quota was dead and buried with the Aust-US FTA
IMHO the ads for the show is more than enough to make me want to block the ads, not that I bother with the Lifestyle channel anyway, haven't tuned to any of the 6 LSC for as long as I can remember.

From the ACMA website
Australian TV content | ACMA
Australian content for commercial free-to-air televisionThere's still a requirement for 55% Australian content.
Australian content on commercial television is regulated by mandatory standards: Australian Content Standard (ACS) and Television Program Standard 23 - Australian Content in Advertising.
The ACS requires all commercial free-to-air television licensees to broadcast an annual minimum transmission quota of 55 per cent Australian programming between 6am and midnight. In addition there are specific minimum annual sub-quotas for Australian (adult) drama, documentary and children's programs.
I don't have Foxtel but have seen the ads on FTA TV. So it's coming. If it's already on Foxtel that's just another reason not to get Sat TV AFAIK.
You know, it offends me that this sort of TV is even made. How stupid do the programmers think we are? And really, we accept it so nothing's changed.
It's no wonder Australians are the worlds biggest illegal down loaders.
Bitch session over![]()
As I'd seen it being advertised on FTA I assumed it was going to be on FTA. I don't have Foxtel and I'm not going to be watching Gogglebox so I didn't pay any attention to when it was going to be on.
