    Liqui-Moly 12Hr.

I watched this race & really enjoyed it.
The telecast was just reasonable & totally missed the all important action on the very last corner, & there were other aspects of the telecast that I thought could be improved, but overall it was a good race, with all sorts of different cars.

Surprised me how slow their pit stops were in comparison to the V8s

Yep...Pickles we agree again....don't let it form a habit now.....

It was a really good waste of a day.

I was very impressed with Dean Canto.....on each of his spells he brought the Merc to the front.

I think it can only get better now.

    2015 Bathurst 12 Hour

Ok, I'll admit to missing the start by about 40mins,, but! I did put in a pretty full day watching it from then on,,
only switching over to Battle Cry during the UNBELIEVABLE safety cars and " oh, while the cars are not on a green lap we''ll take this opertunity to blah blah blah"

but as seems to be the Bathurst scenario the car races boil down to a last ten minute sprint,,,
To watch the mighty Nizmo GTR blast past those cars up mountain straight,,,
it was the fastest car ALL DAY,,
I do feel sorry for the last Bentley, each successive SC brought the field back up to him,, mind you,, each of the Bentleys had their own way of dealing with "other" cars,,

In 5 years time,, this will be such a MONSTER of an International Endurance Race there will be no AA cars,, and maybe even just a two or three class race.

    I had a great day.

Bentley were robbed! Just love that car. I also liked the other 6 that came in the first 7. No Series 1's though, nor Defenders.

Only saw bits and pieces throughout the day. Great to see the Bentleys racing, did not expect to see them in the race.
Read an interesting article where a couple of the Australian Supercar drivers were interested in racing but the powers of be for the V8's scheduled an official test on this weekend and the drivers were basically banned from entering. Had more to do with the fact that V8's are contracted to channel 10 and Fox and the 12hr was covered by 7. Politics.

Got home from the car show at Hanging Rock - biggest show I've ever been too, about 2000 cars - in time to see the last 2 hours.
Was fantastic racing - different shapes, noises, strengths and weaknesses. Just like the group A I watched growing up. Got half a mind to trek up and watch next year.

Missed the race Friend of mine went and said it was an awesome event, reminiscent of the old days when racing was interesting.

Awesome cars. The R35 is a piece of work.
