A day in the country, meet Ned.

Went for a drive today, someone wanted me to meet Ned.

    so, here is Ned.

    Front

the pipe on the passenger side is the diverted exhaust!! It came out the top of the panel and stopped here!

    Passenger side and rear

    Drivers side

Front bumper and other vices !

    Interior

    Engine Bay

I want the rear tray, but I may have to assess if Ned stays together in most part and maybe Juan (the 109 series one who is officially unnamed) may be a donor... or I may look for front panels , a bumper bar, and a few tailgates, and yet another 109 tray and keep them both!! (Ned is a '56)

SHHH say nothing to the Minister for War and Finance !!

photos of another that was with Ned to follow...

So Im going to approach this bloke about the '56,
I have no use for anything with the 86" however i didn't notice any rust on the firewall in my cursory glance, are these unique firewalls to the 86" or same as 88"?

Is it worth me asking about it... (I dont want it Im unsure if anyone else does..)

Otherwise looks going to the 'sims metal' carpark in the sky!!

I am fairly certain that an 80'' has a different firewall
    Cheers

The 86" and 88" firewalls are interchangeable. There are small improvements made to the 88".
They are nothing like the 80" one, its on its own.

Did you go back and get it.

We have a spare 80 inch firewall off a 50 or if you don't want the parking lights in the firewall we also have a 53 firewall.

If that Q was for me, no still getting in touch with present owner...
Im interested in the 109, the other doesnt appeal to me for anything except the 109s bumper in the rear tray!

So the '56 is mine for the princely sum of $100.
I can probably get the 86 thrown in but at this stage Im not after it for anything.

So this will be good it has the parts I was chasing for 'series juan" my other 56. But really I may end up keeping both
