    Tie down & Helicopter point

Can the tie down and helicopter points be used as recovery points on the Perentie?

I can't see why not. We suspend the whole vehicle from them under a helicopter. We do use clevises or shackles to attach the strops.

    Wink snatch points

I agree with Carl, but still, I would have a look at them and the way they are mounted onto the front of the car. Remove and check the bolts are ok and high tensile etc.
From my casual observation the the lifting points look strong, and knowing the army they are very strong. But lifting is a bit different from snatching as you know.

The landy has some "hardpoints" in the front of the fame where a tube is welded into the frame so a mounting bolt can t crush the frame, just need to do a good visual inspection, "better to be safe etc". cheers simmo,
